Today, PRB Financial focuses on specialty property & casualty insurance for the greater Los Angeles area — the coverage standard agencies get wrong. We insure the things people are passionate about: collector and exotic cars, luxury watches and jewelry, boats and personal watercraft up through yachts, firearms and other fine collections, and the toys and machines of the motocross and action-sports world. On the commercial side, we protect the venues where those passions live — golf courses, simulator lounges, moto tracks, wake parks, and entertainment concepts. And for California homeowners navigating a hard wildfire market, we build fire and earthquake solutions when other agencies walk away. Whatever the coverage, our standard is the same — care, clarity, and access for every client we serve.
PRB Financial was founded by three insurance professionals who built their careers from the same starting point — the field. The founders began their work in the insurance industry as agents at FYM Financial, where they navigated the complexities of Medicare, life and health planning, and the operational realities of running a high-volume insurance practice. That experience taught them what working at scale demands — and what too many firms get wrong.
Walter Plimmer rose to Regional Sales Manager at FYM, with Ryan Bozanic and Garrett Rudy leading their respective domains alongside him. The three saw the same opportunity from the inside — that the insurance industry needs more firms run by people who have actually carried a producer’s license, served real clients, and earned trust the hard way. PRB Financial was built on that foundation.
Today, the founding team’s competitive ambition drives the firm’s expansion into specialty property & casualty — the corner of the industry where expertise, not price, wins the client.
